Earth Artifact – Further Primary Drawings for my project work

 

Here I have completed my own drawings which I have used in my project. I have completed a drawing of different textures in the world, a skeleton, a drawing of brain cells, a drawing of the Fibonacci Sequence on old book paper and a drawing of the human heart. I drew all these using pigment ink fineliners in a range of sizes. I have used these drawings as my own primary sources when completing my work, as I feel there is more value in a piece when the piece has been created entirely by myself, rather than using secondary resources.

Design Practice 1 – Earth Artifact – Art pieces I have created for my project

 

 

 

These are pieces I have created as part of my Earth Artifact project, that I may include in my final design. The first I created using my Instax Polaroid camera when taking pictures of nature.

The second piece I created when studying mathmatical symbolism, and I thought it would be creative to use them in creating a grahical and eyecatching piece. I used fineliner pens varying in thickness to draw this. 

The third piece I created using leaves I found when taking pictures. I think that leaves describe nature of the world very well, as it shows both the grow and decay, which is what the worlds spieces do. To draw the leaves I used a brown-papered notebook and fineliner pens. I used a crosshatching technique to create shading. 

Design Practice 1 – Cabinet Of Curiosity – Drawings

 

These are drawings I have completed in my sketchbook of various cabinets. My first cabinet drawing is a drawing of a piece by Joseph Cornell. I wanted to complete drawings of cabinets to discover different sizes, shapes and techniques.
